BSU Partners With Fullbrittle Scholars Of American Embassy
The Vice Chancellor, Benue State University Makurdi, Prof. Msugh Moses Kembe, has reiterated the resolve of the University to enter into more Partnerships and MoU’s with US based Institutions that would further enhance teaching learning and research in the University.
The Vice Chancellor who stated this through his representative and Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Professor Edward Agbo Omudu, during a courtesy visit on 10th April Tuesday, 2018, by delegation from the USA Embassy in Nigeria, stated that, BSU believes that more formidable grants from such Partnerships and MoUs will truly enhance the rating of the University.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation and Public Diplomacy Officer of the Embassy of the United State of America, Dr. Joseph Schaller, said they were in the University to interact with the University’s Peace and Development Studies Centre as well as Fullbrite Scholars to avail the University the opportunity of accessing the vast facilities and grants available through the Embassy.
Dr. Schaller said they were highly impressed with the level of partnership already existing between the BSU and American institutions adding that they hoped more would be achieved in no distant time.
Dr. Schaller, was accompanied on the visit by culture affair assistant, Nwani Olinze, Grant Management Specialist, Daniel Godchy and Director, Peace and Development studies, in BSU Professor. Adagba Okpaga, who led them on the visit.
